Maternity Leave
A gentle studio pause

While I take this gentle pause for maternity leave, O Tsukiyo continues to move in its own slow rhythm. Cloth continues to be archived, ideas are forming, and future pieces are quietly taking shape in the studio.
This season is one of stillness and soft momentum — a time to be present with my family while allowing space for the quieter work of these storied kimono.
As the studio rests and moves at a softer tempo:
-
Made-to-order pieces will return in Spring 2026
-
Custom enquiries and Kimono Quest requests are still welcomed
-
Collaborations unfold gently as timing allows
When the studio reopens, it will return with new silhouettes for made-to-order designs, fresh additions to the cloth archive, and a small drop of ready-to-ship pieces.
You’re warmly invited to follow along as new work begins to take form by joining my Studio Letter — The Spherule.
Seasonal updates, new cloth in the archive, and behind-the-scenes notes — sent occasionally, never urgently.
Thank you for your patience and support as I move through this chapter of motherhood. I look forward to returning in Spring 2026 with renewed energy, new cloth, and fresh creations.
