Shipping Policy
O Tsukiyo is based and operates from Misawa, Aomori Prefecture, Japan.
Each order is packaged with care and attention to sustainability.
While I use 100% plastic-free packaging, Japan Post requires a clear plastic pouch to be attached to all international parcels. All other packaging materials are recyclable or compostable.
Shipping within Japan remains completely plastic-free.
Processing Time
Orders are processed and shipped within 1–3 business days, excluding pre-orders and custom-made items.
Once your parcel has been dispatched, you will receive a notification email containing your tracking details.
Shipping Information
Please ensure your shipping details are entered correctly at checkout.
I cannot be held responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout.
If you notice an error, please get in touch as soon as possible before dispatch to update your details. Once dispatched, changes can no longer be made.
Ownership and responsibility for the order transfer to you upon confirmed delivery to the address provided.
Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on total order weight and destination.
Domestic Shipping (within Japan)
All domestic orders are shipped with Japan Post, Yamato, or Sagawa Express.
Shipping costs depend on parcel size and destination, generally ranging from ¥600 to ¥1,500.
Free local pickup or delivery may be arranged within the Misawa area upon request.
International Shipping
International orders are shipped with Yamato Transport, Express Mail Service (EMS), or Japan Post’s Standard International Service — all with tracking included.
EMS provides fast and reliable international delivery to over 120 countries and territories; however, some destinations are excluded due to postal restrictions.
If your country does not appear at checkout, please get in touch to confirm if your region is serviceable.
Delivery times vary depending on location, shipping method, and customs processing.
Any delivery timeframe provided by me is an estimate only. Delays may occur due to customs clearance, weather conditions, or carrier logistics, which are beyond my control.
Duties, Taxes & Import Regulations
Customs duties, import taxes, and local fees vary by country and are the responsibility of the recipient.
I am not liable for any charges, delays, or restrictions imposed by customs or local authorities.
Please check with your local customs office if you are unsure about import regulations for textile goods in your region.
Orders cannot be marked as gifts or declared at a lower value to avoid customs fees.
Loss or Damage
I take great care to ensure your order arrives safely. However, once a parcel has been handed to the postal or courier service, delivery is beyond my direct control.
If your parcel is delayed or appears lost, please contact me for assistance so I can open an inquiry with the carrier.
Any compensation or replacement is subject to the outcome of the carrier’s investigation.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact me as soon as possible.
Orders cannot be cancelled once dispatched.
